Welcome to the EAA Chapter 231 website. We are a group of people who share a common interest in aviation. We encourage you to explore our site and to attend one of our chapter meetings to learn more. The chapter was founded in late 1969 so we are celebrating with Chapter activities throughout 2020.
Chapter dues are $20 for individuals and $35 for families (more than one EAA member in immediate family and household). Please scroll down the page and you can pay online with a credit card.
The annual dinner is 4:30 - 6:30 pm on Saturday, Feb 22nd at Crafted at Libbie Mill, a new restaurant in Richmond. The location has good parking and is close to I-64. See the Calendar and Meeting Schedule pages for more details.
We hold regular meetings at the Chesterfield County/Richmond Executive Airport (KFCI) in the 2nd floor conference room. We typically meet the second Thursday of each month at 6:15pm. The day/time may change periodically. Please check the Calendar page for specific dates and times.
Check the Meeting Schedule page for presentation topics and schedules. The Calendar page also provides schedule information for Chapter Meetings and other related events.
We are planning a number of Young Eagles events for youth age 8-17 for 2020.
See the Young Eagles page for details and registration links.
Miss a Chapter Video Magazine?
Video archives now available online
Now EAA members have access to Chapter Video Magazines from previous months. We have established a link that takes you to the archived videos with a click of a mouse.
Remember, the Chapter Video Magazine is an exclusive, first-run offering only available at your chapter get-together. But you can see the archived videos anytime and even play them at chapter events like pancake breakfasts and fly-ins.
The ADS-B presentation and ADS-B Receiver construction links are located on the Past Programs page.
EAA Chapter 231 is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity registered with the Internal Revenue Service. Donations are generally tax deductible in the United States. Please verify with your accountant or tax advisor for your particular case.
Donations fund our support of aviation education through youth scholarships and activities such as Young Eagles flights and aviation seminars.
